Krithi International Book Fair, Cochin

A perfect blend of all that you love. Books, art and food. Very well organized.Very responsible and professional volunteers - I remember another fest which happened in Cochin some time back, were I found a lot of volunteers who were there just for the sake of that; you ask them something and you get a blank or disinterested look in return.

Book fest:They have managed to cater to the varied reading interests of society- fiction, non fiction, academics, children's etc.You get to check out 106 publishers ranging from small start ups to major publishing houses.

Art fest: Covers various genres ranging from dance forms, gazal, poetry, painting, drama to band shows.
Food fest:Good quality hygenic food is being served at food fest.They keep ensuring that the  premises are kept neat, unlike in some fests were you see such spaces unclean and messy. There is a dedicated stall for food products made of Jack fruit. Another specialty is Ramasseri Idli. You will find a lot of curious eyes watching it being made.

Overall a very well managed event.
